When you are in high school style is dictated by what others deem as cool. In order to break that trend going into college you need to start by going by what you like to wear.
Do you like to wear skinny jeans with a cute blouse and a pair of flats with a cardigan in tote while you go places. Then your style is simple, and easy and always in style. If you like to look a little more classic then you are probably looking at Kate Moss and Angelina Jolie and thinking 'I love that outfit'. I tend to dress in a bunch of styles and so should you. Just because you prefer to wear shorts and a button up plaid shirt does not mean that the next day you can't wear a sundress and flats.
Here are my fashion icons:
Angelina Jolie-She has the simple yet classic look that every girl looks great in. She tends to dress in black. You will hardly ever see her in a pink shirt with blue jean shorts.
Reese Witherspoon: She has the simple laid back style that is great for spending the day out on the town without putting in too much effort.
Taylor Swift: She has the cutest southern style I have seen. She always has a cute sundress with boots and she buys things that are practical and cost a lot less than other celebrities. Plus she just won fashion icon at the 2011 TCA's.
